Integrations
Connecting Google, Slack, WhatsApp, Fathom, and Discord.
How does the Google connection work?
Donna uses Google’s standard OAuth flow: you create a client in your own Google Cloud project (the Integrations page walks you through it), then sign in through your browser. Tokens are refreshed automatically. Calendar has full two-way sync; Gmail, Docs, and Drive are connected for reading with more actions on the roadmap.
Slack, Fathom, Discord?
Slack: paste a bot token (xoxb-…) from a Slack app you install to your workspace; Donna can read channels and send messages. Fathom: connect once and meeting recaps land in Docs when calls end. Discord: a bot connection for reading and sending in your servers.
Can I text Donna on WhatsApp?
Outbound messages (Donna sending to you) work in the packaged app. Two-way texting (you message Donna and she replies) needs her brain reachable from the internet for Meta’s webhooks, which means self-hosting with a public HTTPS address. Voice notes work in both directions once that’s set up, and approval requests arrive as Approve/Reject buttons.
